You will have to register your company in the business register of the Dutch Chamber of Commerce. Your registration will automatically go to the Tax and Customs Administration. When a company is established or does business in the Netherlands, a VAT identification number is required. This 14-numbered code must be shown on every of your company’s invoice. You will receive your VAT identification number after your company’s registration at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce is completed.
